Backyarding is a verb: gathering people around fire and food. We're a service-disabled veteran-owned shop curating live-fire cooking gear we'd put in our own backyard.
Why we started
We got tired of disposable grills and gear that rusts out in two seasons. So we went looking for the makers still building heavy steel, honest cast iron, and clean-burning fuel — and we put them in one place.
How we choose
Everything here gets cooked on. If a grill can't hold a coal bed, if a skillet arrives rough, if charcoal throws sparks and ash, it doesn't make the cut. We carry a short list on purpose.
Veteran owned
GetBackyarding is a service-disabled veteran-owned small business. Service didn't end when the uniform came off — it just moved to the backyard.
