Why do some grills take weeks to arrive?

The makers we carry are small fabrication shops. A 36-inch Santa Maria grill is cut, welded, ground and finished after you order it — there's no pallet of them waiting in a warehouse.

The lead time on each product page is the window the maker has quoted us most recently, and it's updated as their queue changes through the season. Spring and early summer run longest.

Once your cooker is built, it ships by freight and the transit itself usually takes three to seven business days depending on distance.
